Jeremy Brummond is a nationally recognized construction lawyer and Practice Group Leader of the Construction Law Practice Group within Lewis Rice’s Litigation Department. He represents participants across the building and design industries in complex construction disputes and contract matters, working with property owners, design professionals, general contractors, specialty contractors, equipment suppliers, and material suppliers.
Jeremy advises clients on the negotiation and drafting of construction and design contracts, helping address contractual obligations and project issues before disputes arise. His litigation practice encompasses construction and design defects, delay and lost productivity claims, mechanic’s liens, payment bond disputes, and other significant matters arising from construction projects.
While construction and design are the principal focus of his practice, Jeremy also represents clients in a broader range of commercial litigation. He additionally serves as a panel arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, bringing his extensive construction disputes experience to his work as a neutral.
Jeremy holds a number of leadership positions within the construction law community. He is a member of the Governing Committee of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry and a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis’s Construction Law Committee.
His work has earned sustained recognition from leading legal publications. Jeremy is ranked in Band 1 for Construction Law by Chambers USA and has been recognized by Best Lawyers from 2019 through 2027. He was selected to Missouri & Kansas Rising Stars from 2010 to 2014 and Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers from 2015 through 2025, including recognition among the Top 50 St. Louis-area lawyers in 2018, 2021, 2024, and 2025 and the Top 100 lawyers in Missouri and Kansas in 2024 and 2025.
