Stephen “Steve” Wolf is a construction and commercial litigator with Clark Hill whose practice forms part of the firm’s nationwide construction group. He represents clients in complex construction, commercial, and business disputes and works closely with them on both dispute resolution and risk management matters.
Steve’s construction practice includes representing owners, developers, general contractors, prime contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, suppliers, and design professionals. He handles a broad range of disputes involving payment, prompt payment statutes, project delays, construction and design defects, mechanic’s liens, payment and performance bonds, and consumer protection claims.
In addition to his construction work, Steve represents clients in a variety of commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract claims, real estate disputes, business torts, and restrictive covenant matters. His broader litigation experience complements his construction practice where disputes involve contractual, property, or business issues.
Steve also advises clients on the drafting and negotiation of contracts and other agreements as part of their efforts to manage risk and reduce the likelihood of disputes. When litigation does arise, he represents clients in state and federal courts and handles matters through discovery, alternative dispute resolution, and trial, tailoring his approach to the circumstances of each case.
