The Construction Law Practice
We provide our clients with the expertise to address a wide variety of construction related issues. We represent owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers and sureties in the construction field. We handle construction contract preparation and review, provide general guidance from construction commencement to completion concerning bid mistakes and protests; design defects; differing site conditions; non-payment; default terminations; changes; delays; suspensions of work; additional services; acceleration; labor inefficiency; mechanic’s liens; and prompt payment.
When a dispute arises, we initially develop a resolution strategy seeking an expedient and cost effective alternative to litigation, including informal settlement dialogue, mediation and arbitration. As appropriate, we confidently litigate to protect and enforce the interests of our client. We have the experience and legal resources to provide effective and time managed representation in all phases of construction litigation. We are actively involved in a wide variety of residential and commercial construction litigation including contract interpretation and enforcement; disputes involving payment bonds; Miller Act claims; materialmen’s and mechanic’s liens, and disputes concerning defects.
“Brian is widely regarded as a leading construction litigator in Oklahoma, trusted by lenders, owners, and contractors to handle complex disputes involving liens, bonds, defects, and high-value project claims. His practice is respected for combining deep construction law knowledge with strong courtroom advocacy, supported by extensive trial and hearing experience in state and federal courts.”
